Favourites of April

Hi, I am Jeanette and these are my favourites for April.

Today it's the first of May and April is now "last month". It was been a short month I think. I actually feel like I wrote the last favourites post (for march) yesterday! But April has been a good month (haha, I say that every month!). Even though I didn't get the loan I applied for I am not upset. I got the weeks I needed off for vacation this summer, I've paid my school deposit and bought a tent for Roskilde Festival. Now we just need to buy the tickets for the festival, Alabama and Hawaii. Can't wait!

Favourite Product



The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Serum. I have had this serum for about a year now, but just started using it this winter. I have changed my skin care products into products that are ment for my skin. I actually went back to a series I used a few years ago, TBS Seaweed skin care range. This is for combination to oily skin and is a bit drying. Without the moisturizing serum my skin would dry out from only using the Seaweed.

Favourite Makeup Product



After reading somewhere one Heidi Larsens blog that she used the e.l.f. High Definition Powder I just had to try it. I am actually pleased with my Loose Face Powder from The Body Shop which is in my normal base makeup routine so in the beginning I didn't use the e.l.f. one that much. But when I was doing lip art makeup I needed to matte down my lipstick and I didn't have any red powders so I tried the High Definition Powder. I thought it would make my lips white because the powder is white in the container, but when I used it on the lips it left them perfectly matte, without white stains! A perfectly translucent powder that I now like a lot and use for setting concealer and lipstick.

Favourite Makeup Looks



Vintage Hollywood Glam. Curly, girly, gorgeous look with pink lips.It is amazing what hair and makeup can do to ones mood!



The way he strokes his index finger against his lower lip (Fifty Shades og Grey). I have been, and still am, hung up on lip art makeup looks. This one is a colourful one, so pretty. You can make anything with makeup! Logoes, designs and so much more. Can't wait to do more of this!



Summer. Salt Water. Dresses. Makeup. My third favourite look this month is the easy, breasy summer look. Beach hair and lip stain. I am waiting for those two month of summer all year.

Favourite Outfits

When going through the outfit post from April I saw that I (almost) solely did outfit photos to show you something new! I am getting a little tired of the things in my closet now. Think I have to gather some girls and have a trade night soon.



Bringing you to bed. With my new floral shirt from BikBok.



The beginning of my summer wardrobe. I found this lovely top and skirt in Gina Tricot. For those warm summer night barbeque parties!



Burgundy Love Now & Then. I had been searching for the perfect burgundy jeans and found these. I like them, but they are not perfection. Still looking!

Favourite Nail Design

I only did one nail design this month. My nails are so short and just crack up so fast now. I was looking through my nail posts in the archive and my nails were so long and strong just last summer! I could do so many cute and cool design, and I did. I have to strengthen them again so I can do fabulous nail art like this, this and this again!

Events of the Month

There hasn't really been any big events this month, so I'll share with you the best days and moments instead!



 Naked sunday. My boyfriend and I "naking" on a sunday walk. We borrowed the dog, Abby, and went to a small island. It was so beautiful out there and I got many great photos like this one and this.



You all made my day. I did do makeup for a shoot. It was a makeup shoot for the MUP-Expert Program. My friends were my models and Frogner Foto took the pictures. It was so much fun! I haven't gotten the photos yet, but will probably show you some when I get them.
