You'll always be my little girl - Happy Birthday
My little sister is now 19 years old. We celebrated on Sunday with a big gathering of family members, lots of great food, smiles and the sun was shining all day!

Between heartbeats
Finally we have some serious summer weather! Lately I have been wearing short shorts and bikini tops almost every day. This outfit is from Saturday the 18th. The picture is taken in beautiful Risør at Ravens parents cottage. It was such a perfect day that started with breakfast on the piers in Skien, then lunch at our favorite café, dinner in the sunset on a porch in Risør and ended on the sofa at home with Eurovision on the tv. I didn't like Denmarks winning song that much though. But Margaret Bergers I feed you my love have been played several times on my Spotify the last week! Who were you cheering for?

Zsa Zsa Zsu
After a few weeks with absence I am now back, woho! The charger for my computer stopped working so I had to get it fixed. Since the last time I blogged the summer has finally come! And with summer comes the barbeques, beer in the sun, long walks, less clothes and the feeling of having to get out of the apartment the moment you open your eyes in the morning. I love it! I actually woke my love up on Sunday by starting to apply sunscreen on him! I love the smell of sunscreen, such a sure sign of summer.
Since the last time I blogged I have celebrated the Norwegian constitution day and my little sisters birthday. I have been partying in the middle of the day, on a Sunday, and I have sat in a limousin. I had dinner with all the fabulous women from work and have been on several dates in the sun with my lover.
I guess it goes without saying that I have lots of pictures to show you!

Red White Blue - Makeup Look
Another 17th of May look! I guess this isn't really a wearable look. I get a superhero feeling by it though, which I love, haha! I do this looks for fun and just play around with my makeup so here I am actually wearing TBS lip liner 13 Rosy Red on the eyes and MakeupMekka Luxe Cream Liner Midnight on the lips! The white in my inner corners is elf Cream Eyeshadow Candlelight. These are the same products as I used for the lip look here.

Dresses for springs festivities
The next weeks and months there are a lot of celebrations coming up. We have the 17th of May on Friday, celebration of the Filipino national day in the beginning of June and in between there are lots of birthdays. My own birthday is coming up and so is Ravens, my little sisters and one of my best friends. In edition to this the people I work with are having a spring get together with dinner and drinks, and on that same day I am invited to a confirmation and another birthday. I can't do all three though. Like you all needed to know that! My point with writing this is to explain why I'm posting pictures of all these gorgeous Nelly dresses, I need some!
Skater dress | Chiffon dress
I almost clicked this one home, but I could see from the measuring that it would be too long even in xxs. Good thing I checked or it would be on its way to me right now and then it would just be hanging in my closet. It's getting more and more obvious to me that I can not order maxi dresses online.
Dionne dress | Peplum Bombshell dress
I am very picky when it comes to dresses and it's all about feeling comfy in it. The length has to be just right. I don't like straps on just one side. I can not have strapless dresses without trying it on because I have nothing to hold it up with so I am thinking about that all the time while wearing a strapless. Maxi dresses are often too long for me, even with high heels I step on the skirt! I think peplum dresses look so cute, but when I put one on I just have to take it of again. Hopefully one day I can learn to wear it. Other than that my dresses can not show to much, but should still be sexy or cute. If it is very tight I usually prefer long sleeves like the blue one here or this one.

I guess my pickyness must be the reason I don't wear dresses that often. I am going to try more and more this summer to wear new and different dresses so maybe by the end of the year my NYE dress will be a strapless, tight dress.

Red White Blue - Lip Art Makeup
The Norwegian constitution day, 17th of May, is coming up! I've done some patriotic makeup looks with the colours of the flag. Of course I did a lip art makeup look and this is the first one I'll show you. I am so totally hung up on lip art, can't get enough! Hopefully the looks will just get better and better, it's not that easy to do straight lines and stuff on the lips. Well, here you go; Norwegian flag colours on the lips!

I would never diss my own momma just to get recognition (Eminem)
Some people comment that it seems like bloggers live these perfect lives. It is easy to get this imprecision because we love to share the good moments. We post picture we like and write about things that excite us because this is what we choose to share. Most bloggers want their blog to be something readers will find positive and inspiring. That's why we read blogs, to get inspired. So when I don't blog for a few days it often means that I am uninspired and unable to feel inspiring to others.
Off course I could blog about the fact that my work out plan did not work out (hoho) and that my dinner on Sunday was four pieces of brownies that I made last week with the blueberry/raspberry/lemon sorbet I made on Saturday. Oh, and I had dessert, another four pieces of brownies. And that I spent my Friday and Saturday night alone on the sofa or in my makeup room with a glass of wine feeling lonely while my boyfriend was at work. I've spent several weekend this way, but this is not what I choose to share.
I share with you the makeup looks I did this weekend and the findings I do on web shops. The pictures I am pleased with, taken when I am bored, end up here. I might share some recipes and food pictures because I am starting to enjoy cooking more and more now. Would you like that? I share things that inspire me hoping it can inspire someone else.
I guess my point is that as a reader I want to read the positive things a blogger does because I have enough worries of my own, and I think most readers do. This doesn't mean that bloggers are perfect people with clean homes, a new outfit every day, fresh makeup at all times and a constant smile on their face. We blog for ourselves, not only for our readers, and sometimes what we need to do to feel a bit better about ourselves is to give the imprecision that we are in fact living a perfect life.

Ombre Lips
