Hi, I'm Jeanette Marie and this is my first favourites post, or månedens, in english!

It is the first day of march 2013 and my favourites are out! I am usually so late with these posts so hey, this is improvement! I am going to label all the old favourites post with "favourites". Right now they are called and labeled "månedens" which directly translates to "of the month". So, February, the shortest month of the year. The days went by so quickly I don't even remember when january ended and february started. Good thing all the pictures and posts have dates on them!
Favourite Products
My favourite products this month is my new Faith in nature Neem & Propolis shampoo and Neem & Propolis conditioner. I try to use products that are not tested on animals and have clean formulas. Well, cruelty free is a must, but parabens doesn't really scare me that much. These products are free of parabens though, and that's good! I used the Rainforest Radiance range from The Body Shop earlier, but decided to try something new when Faith in nature were on sale at Nellys. With the Ranforest Radiance products my hair got so tangled and hard to work with. It would get tangled just a few minutes after I had de-tangled it, so annoying. But with Faith in nature Neem & Propolis my hair stays soft and doesn't tangle that easily. I am not sure if they contain silicone, but I don't think so even though that would explain why these work fine on my hair when Rainforest Radiance doesn't. I do use the Rainforest Radiance Hair Butter in addition to these, it smells amazing.
I feel that Faith in nature Neem & Propolis shampoo and conditioner are a bit more runny than I am used to in hair cleansers, but this helps in spreading it out through the hair. They do not have the same smell, but they both smell very fresh. The conditioner smells like some herb my grandma would use for cooking, but I don't know if it is neem or propolis or what 'cause I just know the smell, not the name or how it looks like. It smells good though, so good! The conditioner actually smells a little bit stronger than the shampoo. Anyway, I am very pleased with these products and will definitly repurchase them. Or I might try some other smells and products from Faith in nature. You can find the brand here.
Favourite Makeup Product
I had such a hard time figuring out what to put here for February. I always want to put some of my new things, but I haven't really worn them enough to call them favourites yet. But this one I use every day before I apply lipstick; Urban Decay Lip Primer Potion. I hate having to re-apply my lipstick every hour of every day so this is now a must for me. Yesterday I was out from 11.30 am until 21.00 pm and had only filled up my lip colour tree times. I love it. I bought mine at Sephora in Chicago.

Favourite Makeup looks
It is too hard for me to choose only one so I give you tree of my favourite makeup looks of the month. If I make a lot of makeup looks one month I might cheat and give them their own favourites post. Just saying, giving you a heads up. But not now though, now you get my tree favourites of February.

Offcourse the leopard look has to be one of them! In this look I used solely products from The Body Shop. I am still pleased with how it turned out! It was all about shading and highlighting and I actually made it work. You can find the post and product list here.

In this look I actually had green eyeshadow, but you can't really see it in this photo. The green eyeshadow and red lips went great with my new red-ish hair colour. My hair colour is getting it's own post soon because I am so happy with it! Anyway, this is a typical look for work at TBS for me. It is clean, simple and gorgeous! Find the product list here.

I love looks like this. It is so pure and beautiful and exaggerates in all the right places. The nude colour on my lips makes them appear bigger and the blue eyeliner really makes my eyes pop. I am litterally in love with this look. You can see an other photo and read the product list here.
Nails of the month
Doing my nails is something I enjoy doing when I have time to sit down and concentrate on it. I did a lot of experiencing with nail art for just a year ago, but now I haven't been doing so much of that. Last year I made many nail art suggestions for Valentines Day, but this year I only did one. I am very pleased with this one though, very elegant. You can check what polishes I used here.

Outfits of the month
As with the makeup looks I really don't want to choose just one outfit of the month so I give you tree. And this was actually a though one because I liked this one a lot too. It is getting a lot easier to take outfit photos now that the sun is strong and the days are getting longer so hopefully there will be more outfits in march, yaaay! And if I have a lot of favourites by the end of the month they too will have their own post!

Yes, with the leopard again, but hello, it is awesome! Both the body and my new shoes are great favourites in my closet. Check out where they are from here.

This outfit I made after having to really drag myself out of the sofa, but I am very pleased with it. And so happy that it is actually warm enough to wear this during the day now! Too slippery for the shoes though, which are also very bad quality so I wouldn't recommend them. My black pair lasted for a month. Better picture of the outfit here.

This is what I wore yesterday. I just love my new shoes, and they were on sale so I had to have them. A perfect outfit for a lazy day off. Well, my day didn't turn out the way I planed, but hey, I lookes good. You can see what was under the jacket here. Jacket, purse and scarf are all from Vero Moda.
Edit:
Events of the month
I actually forgot to put this in! I usually write a little about events I've been to or just memorable days and moments. I would be kidding both you and myself by saying I go to a lot of events! In February I worked at The Body Shop during a makeup event. We had a visit by The Body Shop in Norways official makeup artist, Tore Petterson. He is very talented and everyone he does makeup on have the biggest smiles when they leave the shop. He is also one of the most social and outgoing people I know so it is just a pleasure to work with him.

One of the highlights of the month was going ice skating with my boyfriend and other loved ones. I had so much fun! And I knew I would, just not that much. When I was young we had an ice skating range at our school so I actually skated every day. I've missed that after I moved to the big city. I know that few people would call Porsgrunn & Skien big cities, but I lived in the bush before I moved here. Back to the point, I had a blast that day!

That was my favourites for February, the shortest month of the year!
