I made this outfit and post before I left for the cabin, hoho. Hopefully I am wearing something super comfy like this right now, and I hope you are too! These clothes are all from Nelly.com. I have a discount code that gives 75 kroner off when you shop for over 300 kroner, since I am not at home I won't be using it. Happy Easter!

The easter holiday is here and I have a 4-day vacation, woho! Today we are going to meet some friends for a café date before we are going to the cabin with Ravens parents. It's relaxation-time! I don't think there is internet there so I won't be blogging, but I am bringing the camera and hope to take some photos on long easter walks with my boyfriend. Hope the weather will stay as nice as it has been the last couple of days. Maybe I'll even get a little tan during the weekend!

Another sunny day at the end of March

Good day lovelies! The sun is shining today and the sky is blue, I love it! Even though I am just sitting inside and am going to work in a few hours. Today I tried on a new BB-cream from The Body Shop. This one is not yet in store, but I got it on the Sales Basic Course. I'll give you a review in a week or so when I have tested it out properly!

I just have to tip you about something today! I don't know if any of you are members at members.com, it's kind of a club where you can get exclusive offers and today they have a 50% sale off Jeffrey Campbell shoes! These get sold out quickly and some are sold out already, only an hour and a half after it started! I think I found members.com through Nelly.com some time last year.

The 8 Truths (challenge)

A few days ago I read this post on Sivs blog and found my name at the bottom of the post. She wrote a post with 8 facts, or truths, about herself and challenged me to do the same. So here I go.

One. I love tv series like Top Model, Stylistene (styling), Ink Master og Hjelp, han pusser opp (interiour). These shows have beauty, fashion, competitions, drama and so much inspiration. My favourite is Top Model because of all the incredible photos and photoshoot, but also because of the amazing makeup and outfit looks. So inspiring.



Two. I am very lazy. Actually I am too lazy to even cleanse my skin properly at night. 50% off the time I use cleansing wipes. And I call myself a beautyblogger, shame on me! I must add that I always use cleanser and toner in the morning though. Just so you won't think I'm a filthy slob.

Three. People compliment me on how much I'm working. The truth is I am trapped in an evil circle which started when I went to school and lived at my moms house. I got my first job and work became my get away. It has been for a while, now I don't know how to get away. Maybe it will be easier when I start school in fall, maybe not. But hey, my savings account is not complaining so I shouldn't either!

Four. I am a very social person and for a long time I was the one who would gather my friends together. The gang. They're all crazy and so fun to be with. All I would do was gather them then listen and laugh, I am seldom the one entertaining.



Five. I don't use deodorant. Haha, weird fact about me! I haven't used deodorant for 4 years. You might be thinking I'm gross right now, but I don't stink (I think)! To be honest I feel like I had more problems with sweat and bad odor when I used deodorant. Even on days I actually wore it I had some problems with sweat and bad odor, but now it is no problem at all.

Six. My dream as a little girl was to be a model. We all had that dream right? That's why there are shows like Top Model! I wanted to fill in a form at a model agencys webpage back when I was in school, but I am too short so I never sent it.

Seven. I want babies. Not today. Not tomorrow. But one day I'll have babies. The thing is that I want babies, not children. Children these days are spoiled and ill-mannered. Well, you just don't spoile them then, right? It's not that easy when all the other kids have this and that so "why can't I have it, mom? Everyone at school has it!" and that is not just something he is making up to get something. But babies are so cute! I want babies.



Eight. I want to explore the world. Go backpacking, couch surfing or just travel to tourist sights or places people wouldn't go for their normal vacations. I want to see big cities and villages. Take funny or beautiful pictures with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Walk on the Chinese Wall. Look out over the city on top of London Eye. Go to Tokyo. Go to Rome. Go to northern Norway and see the midnight sun or to Vestlandet and see Preikestolen. Go to India. Ireland. Cuba. Hawaii. Africa. Asia. Europe. America. It doesn't matter where, I wanna go there.

I don't really have anyone to pass this challenge on to, but if you decide to do it then please let me know!

That just makes me smile

I've had such a great and busy day at work today! On days like this it is fun to be at work and I have lots of energy at the end of my shift. The days goes by so much faster when there are many people in the store to shop so I have all the amazing customers to thank! I also have to thank the beautiful Ezra who has helped me with my assignment in the Makeup Expert Program and been a model for me two times now. You are an angel! Right now it is Paradise Hotel with my boyfriend in the sofa. He has easter break this week so he has cleaned the appartment today, such a good boy. Hihi.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known

Today I have been at a studio with a local photographer taking some pictures that he will use in his portfolio. We took beautiful portrait photos, I can't wait to get them! I am waiting for photos from two photoshoots with different photographers now and I am just so excited to see the results of both of them.

At home it is suddenly very calm and quiet because Ravens best friend came and picked up her dog. Feels a little empty, but at least we almost have enough furr on our sofa to make a new puppy! Yes, we have got to get this thing vaccumed. But that can wait, first we are going to a café with friends that have come home for easter break.

Enough work for the weekend, now I'm going to pick up my JC shoes which had to be sent to the shoe maker. Can't wait to get my babies back home!
Under is my makeup from yesterday. I used all TBS products, the eyeshadow is Colour Crush - Sweet Pea.

Yesterdays makeup was very simple and clean with nude lipstick from eyeslipsface and winged liner with TBS. I like it simple and clean for bright, sunny days in this winter wonderland. So beautiful.



What do you think of the makeup?

Because we like it right now

I tried out a high bun with hair donut yesterday. It felt so weird, like I had something on my head that did not belong there. It looked okey, don't you agree? I can't help but thinking that the hair bun (or hair donut buns) is something we will look back at in a few years and ask ourselves why we did it. But then again it will be so cool a decade later. Well, I like it right now, and I need to be better at doing my hair. Here I used hair mousse AND hair spray. The last time I did that was new years eve 11/12. That is just sad! Especially because I like doing my hair. Am going to do my hair every time I go out now!

I did my hair and dressed up today to celebrate my stephfathers birthday. I never know what to get him as a present so today I just gave him some muffins I made. That is actually genious! Now I'm going to bake something every time I don't know what to get people as presents. It's cheap, personal and delicious!

Yesterday I went to a Sales Basic course and I can't wait to try out some tecniques and theories today at work. I am working double shift today so now I am putting on gloves, a beanie and scarf for a walk with the dog before I start.

Better keep yourself clean

Last night Ravens best friend came by with her adorable dog who is going to stay with us this week. Both Raven and I work a lot, but in different hours so most of our spare time now we spend with this lovely creature. We have been babysitting her several times before and were missing her a little so it is great to borrow her for a while again.

Today I actually baked after work. I started off with buns then made dinner and after dinner I made rough horns with pizza filling and fine horns with cheese and ham. All buns and horns are going in the freezer so that we can just warm them up on days when we don't have time to make breakfast or lunch, or bring them to work. Don't really know why I'm telling you this, hoho!

This is the makeup I ended up using yesterday. I've found that even though yellow can be a bit hard to work with it does compliment my eyes. I like it! Maybe I could call this my first easter look.

Yellow is the new black

I did my makeup and then decided to take a shower so I actually did two makeup looks this morning. I'll show you later, now I'm off to work. Am wearing a t-shirt I bought in The Philippines and jeans from DrDenim. I think the sunglasses are from Gina Tricot.

Beware the snow

I have been so ready for spring the last week I even took out my Converse and my leather jackets. Today I woke up to a white winter landscape. It's snowing again! And it is said to do that all next week. Bah, such a mood killer. I even have the saturday off and was thinking about going ice skating, but I think we'll rather just stay inside. But tonight we are going to a stand-up show with Dex Carrington from Dexpedition! Did you know he is norwegian? I didn't, my boyfriend told me last night 'cause he was wondering if he is going to perform in english or norwegian. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

St. Patricks Day Look

Today I did a green makeup look inspired by all the other bloggers posting green St. Patricks Day looks. We don't celebrate St. Patricks Day here in Norway, but I love green so I will be making more St. Patricks Day looks before sunday. All the makeup I've used here is from The Body Shop except the liquid liner wich is from Gina Tricot.

All Black Uniformed

Today I am  working at The Body Shop in Down Town, Porsgrunn. As you might already know I am doing a Makeup Expert Program and now the deadline is getting closer and closer for my assignments. So if you want a makeover please come see me! We also have a lot of sales now so come by if you're in town!

My outfit is always the same when I am going to work at TBS, all black. Sometimes I add a scarf with some colour, my studded blazer or coloured Converse. In this photo I am not wearing the uniform, it's just a black sweater that says "The Body Shop".

I actually got up this morning! I took swatches of some makeup I'll show you later, didn't get any good shots of my makeup today either. I guess I need my motivation back! I took some photos of my outfit though, they  were pretty bad too.. These two shots are the only ones that were okey. BUT, who cares? I'm up, I've had breakfast, I've worked out and now I'm going to work. I must admit I did spend one  hour in bed after I got out of the shower. So lazy.

When I wake up tomorrow

This is the makeup look I did yesterday, but the picture does not show how beautiful it really was. As I wrote yesterday, I will do a new makeup look with the Coastal Scents palettes and show you guys.

Today I am just checking in to tell you that I have a lot of stuff going on in my head at the moment and am dealing with emotions that can be hard to cope with. Right now I don't know how that will effect my blogging because it might go both ways. When I wake up tomorrow I will either feel like sh*t and believe that I have nothing to get out off bed for until I have to get to work, or I will get up early and treat myself to some makeup therapy and feel great. I hope for the last one, but I won't know until tomorrow morning.
I hope you are having a better start of the week than I am.

Better than a stupid paradise

My day was turned upside down when the day shift at work didn't show up. I was supposed to work evening today, but day shift worked so much better for me. I got to spend my afternoon and evening with my two besties at our favourite café. I actually just got home half an hour ago and am now watching the norwegian Paradise Hotel with Paris Hilton. That's hot! See what I did there?

Haha, guess I am starting to get tired! I did a pink and burgundy makeup look today with my Coastal Scents Beijing palette, but didn't have the time to take proper pictures. I'll make a new look with the palette an other day. It was the first time I tried it on and I'm loving it already!
